Laurie became a BC Notary in 1986 when she
took over her father’s practice. She practiced with her partner,
Susan Davis, in Sidney for fourteen years. She operates a busy
and successful practice with her current partner, Lisa Ehrlich,
where she is a well-known and respected member of the community.
Laurie was a Director of the Society of BC Notaries for 8 years and served 6 years as a Governor of the
BC Notary Foundation.
Laurie’s Sidney practice focuses on the senior based population and she is widely known for her experience in Wills and Estate Planning documents. Laurie provides mentorship for new notaries and has taught the estate planning module to the notarial candidates for the past
eight years.
Laurie has a thorough knowledge of Adult Guardianship legislation and she has been a guest speaker and lecturer on the subject for many interested groups.
