Susan became a Notary Public in 1986 after receiving the first Dr. Hoeter award for highest marks on six statutory notary exams. She practiced with her partner, Laurie in Sidney for fourteen years.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the Society of Notaries Public of BC, and a Governor of the Notary Foundation, Susan has been a very active roving notary for the past six years. She devotes much of her time to Society Committee work and the education of members. Susan is dedicated to ongoing education and has an honours diploma in Urban Land Economics from UBC.
Susan has wide range of experience, particularly in sub-divisions, easements, covenants and Islands Trust. She is a dedicated member of her community and will soon serve as the president of the Sidney Rotary Club.
Susan is now an associate of our firm, with an office in Saanich. She practices province wide as a locum for notary practices, including Salvador Davis.
Susan is married to Dan Mercer and together they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. |
